Affordable and professional, they pointed out some other issues I might be having and offered some proactive fixes.There was a veteran and trainee who showed up for my job, and I appreciated how the veteran employee took the opportunity to do some on-site training and studiously explained stuff in depth for the trainee. We have used multiple AC service providers and never really felt that our results matched the price we paid. I had the absolute best experience with Cool Masters after disappointing ones with a couple other companies. They were super responsive and were able to accommodate a same-day appointment. The serviceman called in advance at the BEGINNING of my service window range to let me know he's on the way. Everyone I spoke to was so polite and friendly (special shout out to Dixie Lee who provided a very detailed summary since I wasn't there on site to speak to the technician!) and I have been so impressed throughout the entire experience that I signed up for a membership. I called Cool Masters because they had an excellent reputation according to my research. All I can say is wow. They came out and not only fixed the problem with my furnace, they used a really cool piece of equipment to evaluate how efficiently it was running.Turns out it was running too rich, which was not only costing me more money on natural gas, it was creating higher levels of carbon monoxide, which was really dangerous for my family. After making some adjustments, it was running perfectly.They were very informative, friendly and charged me much less than I was expecting. I highly recommend!Addendum (June 2024) - Technician Eduardo was fantastic on his recent service call... very professional, informative and showed me a way I can save money in the future.

I am giving a one star review because of the deceitful and predatory practice that I experienced with a technician last week.. The long and short of it is, I knew I had a leak in my evaporator coil, I contacted carrier to make sure the part was under warranty. They assured me it was under the warranty. I had a technician come out and he asked me if the part was on the warranty I replied to him that it was. He then called somebody on the phone and asked them if they could verify the part was on under warranty. The person on the phone told him that the part wasn’t registered so therefore the warranty will be forfeited. The call was put on speakerphone so I could hear what the person on the phone was saying. I asked gentleman to perform a elite test just so I could be 100% sure that it was the evaporator coil that was leaking and he was trying to tell me that he wouldn’t do the leak test unless I was going to get them to perform the repairs, which he quoted was going to be $4500. I eventually got him to perform a leak test and a Freon fill. After he left, I called carrier to ask him about my warranty information, and she assured me that the part was on the warranty. And she told me that the dealers look at the same screen they look at so she couldn’t understand why they technician was saying that the part wasn’t under warranty….. fast forward today. I had another carrier authorized dealer install the part that was under warranty…… I don’t appreciate someone trying to take advantage of me.

They are always on time and keep us posted on their arrival time. I would like to note that yesterday the technician put 2 of our on 65 so that he could test them. We didn't realize this until last night when we were freezing cold. The units ran almost nonstop for 5 hours. I wish he would have let us know he set them that low so that we could have reset the temp.

I scheduled an in-person estimate for Nov. 26 and Mike came out, seemed thorough, and told me he’d have someone write up the estimate. Not receiving the estimate, I called to follow up on Nov. 30. The person who answered very nicely asked me to hold. Coming back to the phone, she said they’d get it right out. I never got it. In the meantime Bartlett came, estimated and, on Dec. 6, installed my new HVAC system.

I had the unfortunate experience of using Cool Masters Air Conditioning and heating for an AC Tune Up request. I spoke to the office manager taking the calls and was quoted $80 for the first unit and $60 for the second unit. Part of my mistake is that I should have asked for clarification on what is included in an AC Tune up, as the requested bill before we asked the tech to leave our property was now over $500! The tech that they sent out, came up with so many things that "Needed" to be done to avoid "Failure in the next 2 weeks". He even told my wife that we needed to replace an air filter for $95 in our attic and when we went to inspect it after he left, the filter looked brand new! The tech had my wife approve cleaning the coils (which we thought was part of the AC tune up), and then at when we asked him to leave told us the fee for cleaning was over $250. He then called into his office and the two owners said on speaker phone for me and my wife that "you either pay your invoice right there or we will just call the police and have you charged with theft of service" (Read other reviews, the owners seem to use this scare tactic frequently). When calling in, the office managers who all seem to be owners all had different stories and claimed that the tech is not paid on commission, but this tech threw more parts at us then I have ever seen before. He would also tell my wife, this needs to be done now or else it would fail, then when my wife got me involved his story changed to "oh no, it's just recommended that you change this. Now the best part, I advised the tech that I needed to speak with the owner before I was comfortable paying for anything, so he left and an invoice was sent to me a couple of days later with a a forged signature where I was supposed to sign to approve the order. This company seems to have a lot of inconsistencies, and some shady things going on when multiple stories and explanations are given and even more so a tech who is willing to forge a customers signature.

Updates: Again more non-factual information. There were only two capacitors checked not three. And the techs story changes pretty dramatically from needed to be done to would recommend if you want.

Further, you were on the line and said the same thing. We NEVER said we wouldn't pay, we disagreed with your tech so we told him we wanted to address it with the office before paying. Thankfully I took video and also emailed you saying the same thing. Get your facts straight.

Funny that you also mention that you don’t hand your iPad to customers to sign, but your office manager claims that your tech showed an iPad to my wife to give her a price... a few holes in your story.
